Our journey started in 2014 when founders, Andrew and Peter, decided to convert Mazda Bongos with custom conversions.

 

They started on a small scale, running the business alongside their long-established car dealerships. Eventually, they got together to focus on sales and conversions of mini campervans fully. By focussing on quality and value, they became one of the most well known and respected names in the leisure vehicle industry, providing the North East and beyond with various vehicles and designs.

Following Peter’s retirement, his son, Alex, stepped into the business. We moved to new premises in Brunswick, Newcastle upon Tyne, and now have multiple workshops across the region, building more quality bespoke conversions in a large range of styles and designs.

Since our inception, Mini Campers North East has helped create quality, compact mini campervans and conversions for our customers across the country. The goal of our team is to help create the lifestyle you desire and to get you on the road in both style and comfort.
